CASTING NOTICE
MorGold Productions seeks a non-union actress for an independent television pilot to be filmed evenings and weekends during the summer of 2009. The role to be cast is an African American woman, aged 40-50. She works for a political campaign as a media manager who knows absolutely nothing about media. A connoisseur of food, she spends most of her on-screen time eating. She is a regal woman with a lot of attitude and isn’t afraid to knock over anyone that gets in her way…literally. This woman is, in one word, fierce. We seek actresses who are bold, daring, hysterically funny, and who can find truth and honesty in a stereotypical role. Some musical background (singing and dancing) is preferred.

The pilot is a farcical comedy that explores issues of political corruptness and the ethics of outing. Persons easily offended by homosexuals, politicians, or shamelessly cheap jokes need not apply.
